Frederick William Edwards [1862 - 1939] and his two Piper wives Emily and Alice.

These are two photos of Frederick William Edwards. Frederick married twice, first to Emily Piper and then twelve years after Emily's demise to her younger sister Alice Piper. They are shown below, with Emily on the left and Alice to the right. Frederick was born in Chatham, Kent and was the eldest child of William and Mary Ann Edwards. He had a younger brother, Charles Edwards who was born in Woolwich.

Frederick and Emily had six children. These were Frederick Charles Edwards, Emily Louise, Maud May, Ada Florence, Ethel Alice and William Alfred Edwards 1st. Only the two male offspring, Frederick Charles Edwards and William Alfred Edwards 1st survived to reach marriage. Frederick William Edwards and his second wife Alice never produced any children.
